The software development team at Comparison Creator specialise in providing white labelled software solutions used in major product comparison websites.
We’re recruiting for a Software Development Manager to bring a combination of hands-on experience and managerial excellence to ensure the software development team are building and delivering industry-leading products. You will work on various projects within the business, leading and offering direction to your team and collaborating with the wider Fintel Group. You and your team will work on both greenfield projects and projects involving improving the existing stack.
You’ll have a direct reporting line into our CEO so you could say this role is pretty influential.
In this role you’ll inherit a team of highly skilled LAMP developers. Your goal is to create the right environment for the team to thrive. This means sharing a clear vision, agreeing goals, coaching and empowering the team to make decisions. You’ll also play a key role in using Agile delivery practices to inspire and develop a flexible, lean and collaborative development culture within the team.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a commercially experienced Software Development Manager or a Tech Lead / Lead Developer with managerial experience who is looking to move into a Dev Manager role.

The team are currently working 2 days from the office in Cwmbran and the rest from home. We are within easy commuting distance of Cardiff, Newport, Bristol etc..
